Default Help Identifying a B45 BX bat

Hey guys, Is anyone familiar with B45 bats? I am a big David Murphy collector and thought I was pretty familiar with his bats going all the way back to his minor league days until I saw a supposed "game used" Murphy bat that a friend of mine has. He bought it from a guy outside the ballpark last season, but it has absolutely no signs ( that I know of) that point to it being a legit Murphy bat much less one he ever used.
Among other features or lack there of, the engraved "David murphy" looks like it was done free hand (poorly) with a dremel tool. There is no "7" on the knob and the tar or sticky grip applied to it is nowhere close to the color nor is it applied the way Murphy does on his bats.
It's is a " yellow birch bat BX". I've never seen Murphy use a BX and can not find any info on the BX anywhere on line. Another issue is that it is supposedly from the 2013 season, uncracked and was obtained before the season ended which seems strange to me. Murphy only handed over a handful of uncracked bats in 2013 to All Pro after the end of season. I wish I could post pics of it but I can not do it using my phone. If anyone has any helpful info I/we would appreciate it.
I would like to share pics. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you my email. Thanks guys!
