Default rarest fronts

... or just the rarest cards without consideration for their backs.

I'm not a back collector, so I always feel left out!

My N321 McCord, only one other known:

Default Rare and somewhat ugly

Two out of the three are practically non-existent:

1924 Crescent Ice Cream Goodall
R308 Tattoo Orbit Pepper Martin (large size) - no other Martins known, only a couple or so of the only other player (Jimmie Foxx) known
R308 Tattoo Orbit Pepper Martin (regular size--not rare, but shown for size comparision)

Very cool cards shown so far! Looking forward to more rare fronts! They are coming in from the hills to see them!

I don't have a clue what those are, and am not a post war expert, but at least the Doby and Dark appear to be the images used on their 1950 Bowman cards.

Can we see the back of these? Possible Proof/Sample Pictures of the Bowman cards or reprints of some sort...

Blank backs. Writing on them. Don't have a pic with me at work.

I thought at first they were something cut out from a box or something, if you look real carefully, there is a line on a couple of these.
The relation to the Bowman cards makes me think Bowman has something to do with them. I would have to date these from 1950-1952.
I can say that the guy who compiled the SCD catalogue was not familiar with them.

I have a couple cards from the "don't know what it is..." category. Here's a 1910-ish McGraw. Same pose as his e94. Paper stock like any other card....no clue what it is, have never seen anything else from this set. EuncMcGraw-001.jpg

Thanks! While I'm sure they exist, I've never seen another instance of the Ruth or Walsh. I've seen 3 Gehringers (I own two of them).
