Default PSA Graded Professional Wrestling Stars

The Wrestling All Stars are clearly the most well known wrestling set from the 80's but there are plenty of other sets where rookie cards or early cards can be found. You will also find wrestlers appearing in other sports sets too.

This thread is dedicated to all of the other sets.

I am going to be sending in this card to get graded at some point. I cracked out my PSA 7 to get signed by both and have been looking for a nice copy. This one is pretty nice and after scanning it I noticed the print dot in the lower blue border. It might still grade an 8. A very nice copy direct from New Zealand.

I just got this back from PSA last week. It did indeed get an 8.

This is a card I have been trying to track down and win for seven years. In that time I lost two auctions and finally landed one. I got it right when he got popped for a failed test in the UFC. His regular version is picking back up steam along with his other cards so hopefully that was a blip in the uptrend for his cards. I offered the seller $200 and he wanted more and I ended up winning for the opening bid of $99. This is numbered to 50. This was submitted at the same time with the card above and I also picked up another silver copy that is numbered to 100 and landed an 8.5 which is the grade I already have on that version.

The Epson V600 is a great scanner. I am going to add some better scans to this thread.

These are cool.

I haven't gotten a chance to scan many of my other cards besides the Wrestling All Stars but here are a few more scans.

I absolutely love this card. What a great looking card. So far none have graded higher.

It was such a shame what happened to him.

I don't use Twitter much but sent a picture of this to Paul E and he retweeted it and it is pretty amazing how many times a notification pops up from it.

This is an awesome card. Only 2 PSA 10's so far from the set.

It took me a over five years to land a PSA 9.

This is a very tough card in high grade.

So far the only PSA 10's

Big mail day for me! Pop 1 so far and only three cards from the set have been graded a 10. Very tough card!

Edit: Card doesn't scan very well but super clean in person.

Great cards. You know I just started a few weeks ago on my wrestling rookies but these are some of my recent pickups. I believe the Undertakers are both Pop 1s, though, as game cards, I have to imagine there are several others that could be 10s if submitted. Really loving them so far. Also about 1/3 of the way done on a PSA graded 1982-83 wrestling set so making some progress.

Thanks - I really want a Piper 1985 PSA 10. I have one of his 1985 Topps subset cards (Piper's Pit) in PSA 10 already but I want one of his base Topps cards. That and a King Kong Bundy PSA 10 from 1985 are two that I want the most right now.

I am trying to self sub a Piper. I have some nice raw copies from a rack box I busted.

No chance on the Bundy. Worst centered card on average I have ever seen from any set.

I have a PSA 7. The only pretty well centered copy I have ever seen.

Thanks for the info on the Bundy - wasn't aware of that. I'd settle for the Bundy/Hogan card and that one's even kind of cool looking. There's a 10 on eBay now but seller is asking for $200 OBO. More than I'm willing to pay on it, especially since it's not Bundy's main card in the set.

Awesome pick ups. The Andre Yamakatsu No. 29 is one of my favorite wrestling cards in the hobby. I bought a PSA 6 of the card from wrestlingcardking on here a while back.

Thanks, appreciate it. The Yamakatsu is a great card. I haven't been collecting these long but it's probably my favorite pose. It's really an incredible picture.
