Original 1909 Piedmont Pack and T-206 Card Shadow Box

This shadow box is a real nice collectible for any wall - An absolutely original Piedmont pack, mounted next to an original Piedmont backed baseball card (1909 pack from Factory 25 next to a 150 series card from Factory 25)!... Mounted inside is a 100% original outer shell of a T-206 Piedmont cigarette pack with a near complete August 5th, 1909 tax stamp on the reverse with no overprint. The pack also is from Factory 25, 2d Va. [So, this pack can be said with 99.9% certainty to have once held a card, albeit may or may not have been baseball]. Using a piece of foam cut to the exact size of an inner slide, I have “stuffed” the pack to give the appearance of being completely full. I also used some early cardboard and made two "ends" for the pack, giving it a look that it still had its' original inner slide. (You would physically have to take the pack apart to be able to tell that there is no inner slide and it is only stuffing and cardboard made to give the appearance). Mounted along side of the original Piedmont pack is a BEAUTIFUL original 150 series Piedmont card that came from Factory 25, 2d Va. A 150 series card was used because the tax stamp on the Piedmont pack is a 1909 tax stamp without an overprint, indicating that the card it once held would have been a 150 series baseball card. Both the pack and the card are mounted to the backing with specially made plastic mounts, making it easy to remove either the pack or the card. (Neither is permanently fixed and both could be removed without any damage whatsoever). The backing, itself, is a color mosaic of various T-206 cards. Total size of the piece is approximately 6*8. $160.00 shipped.
