Default Selling a T3 Magee for children's cancer research charity. Bids are listed.

Posted By: Dave

Hello,

I am selling a T3 Magee card to help raise money for the St. Baldrick Foundation which raised funds to hopefully someday cure childhood cancer. I am going to do this sale as an auction style sale and I will take bids until Sunday night at 9:00 PM. Sunday is their big fund raising day here and I would like to help out. I will try and do updates as to how the bidding is going as much as possible. If people would prefer a silent type auction, I will not give updates. Regardless of what method is chosen, I will not reveal the person that is the high bidder unless they agree to it. The card has 1 pin hole in the top and some staining as you will be able to see in the pictures. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If you would like bigger scans, I can send you them too. All of the money bid on the card will go to the charity. I will pick up any Paypal fees if that is how the winner would like to pay, and I will pick up the postage and insurance. If you would like to read more about this foundation, you can check them out at www.stbaldricks.org.

Do you think you'd get more if you had open bidding right here?

If you put the price up, without a name, it might help folks know how much to bid while protecting confidentiality....Bidders can still email you privately and you can post it, when there is a
new higher bid, if that is possible?.....good luck

Frank and Leon, you are probably right. I will post the bids as they come in and not reveal who the bidder is. The current bid on the Magee is $25. Thanks for your suggestion, I wasn't sure what the best way to do it was.

Seeing that this "auction" will end at 9:00 PM on Sunday, if you want to bid on the Magee on the message board instead of through email, that will be fine with me. That way people will know what the current bid is at the time of their bid. I will try and be online for the last hour in case someone still wants to email a bid and remain anonymous. Thanks.

Just wanted to bump this back towards the top so it doesn't get pushed down too far.
