Default walt disney pick-up

I know this isnt baseball related but wanted to show my walt disney auto I just picked up from phil sears. It comes with a email from the original owner who was from the same town as walt and got it personally signed from him. Beautiful piece

If you bought it from Phil Sears you can "bank on it" being the real deal ! He's the hands down go to guy on Disney autographs , which by the way are extremely tough to authenticate. A nice guy too I've dealt with him before

I too have dealt with him on a couple occasions and he was great. That is a really nice looking Disney signature, it is clear and bold against the light background and will frame up really well with a vintage black and white photo. Nice pickup.

I was offered some interesting Disney items a while back including a TLS and a signed memo.
I insisted that the seller send them to Phil Sears. I guess the seller thought he was so smart that he could beat Phil.
Phil came back with a detailed report which included info on the stationery that was used in the forgery and stating what era that stationery was from. The date on the letter did not match up with the stationery.
The forgeries then vanished into cyberspace.
You can't beat Phil when it comes to Disney.

My wife isn't crazy about it, it presently hangs in a hardly visual spot in our den and it's a shame for such a nice piece to be treated as such. Plus, Hurricane Sandy took a bite out of our nest egg and the kids are approaching college age. It's time to find a better home for it...
