Default Photo albums?

The all time card team thread and the great pictures - like from Peter - leads me to a different question: how many of you guys have a digital photo archive of all your cards?

if so did you

A) scan them from auction pictures (e.g., eBay or AH) or your own photos

B) do you scan each upon receipt, or undertake a discrete project to take photos of the cards in your collection?

thanks - would love to have a digital album; would also make me more likely to use my safety deposit boxes

I tried to get started on certain portions of my collection, but there are just too many items that I would want to scan and I don't have a good way to scan lots of items quickly. Someday perhaps, after I retire and have nothing pending...

I have probably 300-400 cards scanned an uploaded at my PSA Set Registry albums out of the 1000 or so PSA cards that would fit in them. If there is a good scan where I bought the item, I download them and then move to PSA's site. If not, I scan them four at a time on a flatbed scanner and upload. I will plan to get my main set registries all scanned in prior to next year's deadline, so that they are eligible for the Album competition in 2019. I figure one day the T51 Master Set might be nominated for the album competition.

I scanned my small collection (104 cards) myself and it is on Collectors Focus. Whenever I want to look at my cards...I can view the scans and the cards can remain safely in a safe deposit box. Here is the link to my modest collection:
