The only one i considered than the #311 Mantle is the #1 Andy Pafko.
It has many color backs. (black & red) Considered Topps 1st card.
Also, the movie with Bruce Willis make it popular.

That is awesome 11 and 14 are you guys building the whole set of grey backs?

Is there somewhere where I can find the value of these gray backs...so I do not spend way to much on one.

Default Greys

As Adrian mentioned, the scarce, and expensive, "Canadian" greys are only found in cards 131 to 190.

The 54 "Canadian" greys, 1-50 , are indeed also very tough, and only less expensive because fewer people collect the 54 set than the 52

You need not worry about overpaying for either if you stick to auctions rather than stale BINS. But, you will pay a lot. The 52s in good shape will usually cost as much as or more then the high number commons.

There are two collectors on here, Ted Z being one, who are fairly close to full sets of 52 Greys, and as I recall, at least one collector on here is pretty far along on the 54s.

Default 1952

Cards 1-80 can be found with red or black backs, the black being a little less common and carrying a premium. Grays below card 131 are not scarce
