Default Auction house Plank vs Ebay Plank PSA 5

Nice card....don't care for private feedback. Could be interesting. Wonder how it will do?

Are we sure that ebay auction is legit?

The card is the exact same one that ended last night in Lelands' auction.

How could it already be for sale on ebay?

It went kind of low last night. He might have bid, not expecting to win, now needs to get the money to pay for it.

He doesn't even have the card yet, unless he went to Lelands to pick up the card.

i thought this was the one from Memory Lane when I first saw it, after comparing serial numbers on the slabs they are different, but cant someone change that to make it not from a auction house.

Jake, the one on Ebay is the same card that sold last night in Lelands.

Default seems nuts

to have no reserve, although the seller could always take it down if ness., or he can false bid it over 85k, then cancel the sale if he's a rat! Private feedback leads me to believe the latter is possible, or as Charles Barkley would say, "it's possabull."

I'm confused. What do you guys mean by 'private feedback'? When I click on the auction link all of his feedback is there. 100% positive with a 'score' of 482...and I can see all of them. Granted I'm using an old computer and browser at the moment, because my machine is down.

if you click on the "482" you can see feedback for each individual transaction. You can see what the item was and what it sold for.... ..... or at least under "normal" circumstances you can.

This seller has chosen to keep their feedback private and not viewable to the public.

I don't believe this seller actually owns this card. I believe his looking for a $50,000 payday before he skips town. I messaged him just a basic question how he got the card so soon after it ended at Lelands. He never responded back and I doubt he will.

Actually, the Memory Lane Plank is the one that sold cheaply. The Leland's one went high compared to that one.

The auction is for 9 days. Maybe he anticipates receiving it before the auction ends.

The Memory Lane Plank sold for about $1,000 more than Leland's.

Since Josh does post here, couldn't he confirm or deny the possibility of the seller?

On this page you should be able to view some of the items he has bought.

He could but probably shouldn't. I know in the little auction house I help run we keep bidders and consignors 100% confidential....and don't talk about them either.

On several occasions I have emailed auction houses, asking them to pass a question to a consignor. All have said they would, NONE have ever gotten back to me. They do all they can to keep the consignors and bidders totally separate.

Default Completed listings

If you look at his completed listings he sells a bunch of really nice stuff. Not sure if that would be a factor in someone buying it but he looks like a legit high end seller.

Not only did he raise the min. bid to 90,000 but he makes you pay 50.00 for shipping.
