Default Topps Baseball Card Contracts

Does anyone collect Topps Baseball Card Contracts? I think these are pretty cool pieces of memorabilia since baseball cards (Topps in particular) are so much a part of the game and Americana.

I'll start things off with the contracts I have of two shortstops from my hometown (Alameda, CA).

Nice pieces, Dewey.

I don't know anyone who collects them specifically, but I do know of a few collectors who have one or two. I also think they're cool items, and it's a good way to get a player's signature on a baseball related item.

I'm not sure which years had them, but I like the ones I've seen where the player was asked to sign the contract multiple times so one could be chosen for the actual card.

Default Topps Contracts

I know I would like to collect the Topps contracts if a Brooks Robinson came available. Topps may have put a few out of his over the years, but still haven’t picked one up. Really like the ones you’ve listed. I really like how Speier didn’t seem to know the month, year or even decade!

I know a couple collectors that have several of these contracts. Think they are really cool.

Another great thing about these contracts is that some of them are signed by Sy Berger, the father of modern baseball cards.
