Default This section seems a little slow...

Really excited to pick this piece up. Not a card - but card related. Yeah, I collect baseball cards - and yes, I collect cards of my favorite player growing up (Kevin McReynolds.) How about an item that shows a giant photo of Kevin McReynolds trading baseball cards with Tony Gwynn?! This advertising piece is huge!

Default Sportflics Prototype Joe DiMaggio

Arrived today (with a whole bunch of other DiMaggio stuff) from SGC.

I believe these are SUPER rare. I was told that there are only two in existence, but I am aware of three of them. Two of them now live in my baseball room.

If you just won that from ebay recently, I think I was underbidder. I wouldn't normally go hard for something like that unless it had Garvey, but I do have the Garvey piece and thought this would be cool to go with it.

Curt -

It was a recent ebay purchase. I usually don't go after things like that either - but as a Kevin McReynolds fan, I thought it was a great piece. I put it an early bid (because I was working when it ended and knew I would be too busy to bid.) The bid held up (barely!)

Wow, very cool. I never even knew such a test issue existed. When you say '3' are you referring to the DiMaggio or are there other players known to exist?

Thanks. I have been collecting mostly Maddux ever since I got back into the hobby. If you have, or know of any of his stuff that rarely pops up, let me know. I always enjoy seeing new stuff pop up.
