Thanks for the well-wishes and guidance fellas. I expect to send it in, so as to be able to register it (despite it being only an "optional" piece and not actually factoring into anything).

It then occurred to me that although it was being talked about, it wasn't actually pictured...so, I text-searched checked the handy #911 catalogue and sure enough, no other appearance in the thread elsewhere either, so, since it arrived, here you go:

1967 Topps Disc test proof (cyan/yellow)

So Michael, do you feel like making ONE more small donation??...lol

That is an incredible item and would be the centerpiece of many Clemente collections. Congrats again.

Hah, maybe not this time!

And it is in really great shape too. Maybe the others are also, what with having not been circulated and all, but compared to other uncirculated odds/ends I am more familiar with seeing like salesman panels or the square corner Topps Super proofs, this is very clean (I suppose not having corners to begin with gives round things a head start in that area...)

Mike,

You seem to find a lot of tough RC items! Don’t follow too many auctions so I’m sure I’m missing out on a lot of items. Thanks for sharing.

I picked up the next item off of eBay many years ago. Great shape with no creases. I have seen a few of these pop up on eBay over the last year.

Cool. Is there any limit to the permutations of the Post panels, or are the various groupings virtually limitless?

Believe I have at least 3 different from 1962 - there is 1 that is more "common" - I don't recall which one right now. I only have 1 from 1961 and 1 from 1963. There are definitely a finite number - I believe it may be 3 for the 62's. Someone possibly on here has a checklist of the different box combinations. I also have a complete box from 1962 - will post pictures when I have a chance - that is a tough item!

Picked up an uncut sheet at last years national, but don't have the single.
