Always a neat card that has an unique look and possesses great colors. Happy Birthday Barney Pelty, who likes getting horizontal, and in this instance, he is doing it Sweet Caporal style.

That rascal Boss Schmidt was dreamy enough to come a callin' for your daughter, but tough enough to pummel Ty Cobb in a fight in 1907.

Sonny, great cards, as always.

Piedmont 150 of Mr. Schulte holding his hefty bat. Note how orange the background is compared to others, like the more yellowy sky seen in Ted's examples. The fun of T206 collecting.

The small town that Frank Schulte was born in is 20 minutes from the small town that I was born and still live in.

Jumbo T206 Wagner by name, not fame. The nice aspect about this example is that I get to choose whether it is a factory 25, 30 or 649.

Gosh dang it, guys, I may not be able to partake in all this FUN for awhile:
Last week, my 10 year old computer started to "go odd" and knew it was time for a new one. Got a new one, and was able to save almost all my data. BUT when it came down to transferring my scans, the old computer "crashed" (or at least in my elementary computer knowledge). So probably lost my entire set. I'll give it another try, when I'm in better mood, or sit down and re-scan them all. BTW -- Wagner: Left - OM; Right - P42 Hopefully be back at some time. In the mean time keep them coming !!!! Not Fun, fun, Scott :( |

A Sweet Caporal 150 factory 649 overprint is good (non-capitalized and non-Old English spelling) enough for me.
