Very cool, thanks for providing all of the details, George.

Steve - That's more Holmes to Homes cards than I have seen in my 25 or so years of collecting! Well done! I'm envious!

Leon, where do you want the photos? Here, or with autographs and game-used memorabilia?

Since mostly all I collect other than cards is photos, it would be good to get some guidance, rather than wait for another wrist-slap. ;)

I'll assume your silence means you are ambivalent.

Scott- In a perfect world everything would be in it's correct place. That being said there really have been no firm rules set, on purpose. I was just giving you a hard time before because of your mostly single handed try at changing the board ie...the autographs in another yet to be made forum. I think consistency is a good thing when something is working and we don't change the board, operationally, too often. When it makes obvious and popular sense, then we do it. Also, at the end of the day I guess the buck does stop here and like it or not....I try to do what I think is best for the welfare of the board. If you want to post a few pictures on this side the world won't cave in. Thanks for your understanding though I am afraid I could have just opened yet another can of worms. regards

To specifically answer though, I think photos are more memorabilia than cards so should go in that section.

It's flattering that you only read my opinion and ignored those who seconded it, but it was just an opinion, and it was based on the fact that non-MLB photos are for the most part ignored in the memorabilia section.

To me discussions and resulting dissemination of information is more important than what forum a post is made in. And modifying sub-forums seemed like a way to facilitate better discussion without cluttering up the card section. Just threw an idea out - it didn't stick.

Thanks for your response

This baby came off a BIN last night at the bay. Advertised as crease/wrinkle free and unaltered. I think the fron pic was cropped as the left border seems to be uneven but the back pic makes it look straight/parallel. CJ's, Cj's, CJ's....

Already had the Polar Bear tin, but the pack just arrived. It will make a great companion piece. It's the same pack showing on the tin.

Killer companion piece, Tony! Congrats!

Cole, I like that E107 Young! I had the opportunity to hold that one in Chicago at the national this year. Congrats and welcome to the club!

As for me, I've always wanted to have one of the Breisch-Williams overprints in my collection and I finally got the opportunity to add one. They're kinda tough to find. This one came on the back of a Kid Gleason card (of Black Sox scandal fame).

I was also pleased to add a beater of Bad Bill Dahlen. I picked him up since I think he has an outside shot of making the HOF one day via the veterans committee.

Yes, Jeff's Chase PC is awesome, but you need to concentrate on your type collection. I got my PC mojo back, & don't need the competition!

I know this isn't sports - but I felt the need to post it. We've all seen this card more than any other. The upper right corner of this site. I saw it for a couple dollars and had to have it. T-80 series.

November pick ups - partial

I decided to snap a quick pic with my phone of the cards I've added to my collection thus far in November. Several more are on the way. Clearly I haven't had the chance to put the cards in proper holders or scan them in. I wanted to at least get a pic up for the November pickups thread...

If I am lucky, I might find a single Chief Meyers colored silk once a year. This issue is perhaps my favorite type due to the seemingly endless color combinations. Pretty excited to add this one due to the colors and the condition.
