Chickering ad and photo
 
Jay, here is nice ad for Chickering with his photo, from the Tuohey, History of the Boston Base Ball club 1897, which I think also has the cabinet images you have.

Agreed Doug..nice pick-up! I saw it but already have this one so passed on it. I'm very surprised that there weren't other bidders. Does this mean that you're getting back into woodcuts or you never were out ;)

It's almost embarrassing to post a no-hitter related pickup, as my collection is D league compared to Scott's AMAZING HOF level collection, but I picked up my 57th scored no-hitter program last week. Jerry Reuss in 1980.

I figured you must have had it, or one of us would have made the seller a bunch more money. I have never been "out" but I'm not nearly at your level. Your collection is fantastic (what I have seen of it).

It's been an amazing month. Consistently strong examples of the widest variety of items. Congratulations especially on the last few 19th century items.
