Take a look at the first Overall scan of the front and there is a small black dot in the right side border. It's color matches the : (colon) but cleaned up and is completely gone after the soaking. Why did that black dot clean up and not the other two?

I sent Andy the original scans in an email and hopefully he will report his findings here.

Well, Overall is still a WIP.

Now the top dot of the colon after CUBS looks lighter than the bottom dot.

Lets see if this scan is better. I don't know if this is going to work or not.

EDITED: Nope not big enough, I need it about 10x this. The left bottom side of the S has the same 3 little ink extensions as the left side of the top dot. Interesting to say the least!

Odd one Craig.

Looking at it in hand/loupe should give an indication if its printed or a stain.
