Get well and strong David-- I suggest Wisconsin cheese curds and Washington smoked salmon, perhaps together on a toasted sourdough bagel, chased with your favorite IPA or caffeinated beverage (depending upon your mood).

David looked vastly better this evening. Unless there's an unexpected setback, I'll refrain from posting about this further, as I'm thinking David will be typing within a few days.

Scott, thank you for letting us know and for all the updates and relating well-wishes to David. I'm sure it means a lot to have such a good (and local) friend checking in on him.

David, we all wish you a speedy recovery, and I look forward to seeing your wise-crackin' posts on the board again. My tongue is already creeping over to my cheek in anticipation.
