Camnitz was the 1st Turkey Red I ever owned. When PSA started to grade these, I sent in this Camnitz, it was the only Camnitz on their pop report & they had about 30 total cards graded. https://www.qualitycards.com/pictures/howie.jpg |

Fred Clarke, a great hitter and outstanding fielder, still holds the record for most hits in a major league debut, with a 5 for 5 performance for Louisville on June 30, 1894. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...1a741c85_c.jpg |

3 Attachment(s) Fred Clarke…I will add here a great piece I got in the Original Halper auction gifted to Fred by the team in honor of the first World Series that he played in and managed the Pirates for. |

Jay and Paul, nice cards! Sadly, I have nothing to share today, but I'm actively looking for a Cobb and would love to hear about any that might be available! EDIT on 12/24/21 to add my recently acquired Cobb! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f910c921_c.jpg |

Great Cobbs guys. I am going to be putting that card on my want list. Not going to get one for a while. Have others higher up and the want list But these cards have a great look to them |

1 Attachment(s) Some nice Cobbs yesterday, and Craig got caught up with his no offer backs including a Cobb. Amazing to see so many of the no offers when I hardly saw any while working on the set. Art Devlin for today. |

"Wild Bill" was a very good pitcher who helped Cobb's Tigers to three consecutive pennants from 1907-1909. His first managerial job was with the Providence Grays of the International League. Here he is with the 1914 Grays, front and center, managing a promising young rookie pitcher standing behind him that you might recognize. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...44ea7e54_c.jpghttps://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...07f7ba69_c.jpg |
