My unrealistic, never-will-happen card wish would be something like a high grade D304 Christy Mathewson, or '68 Topps Test 3D Clemente.

My realistic, need to get done list would include finishing my 1972, 1959, and 1956 Topps sets, the '62 Green Tints, the '73 Kellogg's set - and making a lot more progress on my postwar Cubs run (where I'm trying to get every Bowman and Topps card up to 1980).

World peace, sane US politics with compromise, etc. etc. - yes of course all welcome.

Anything sports related: I'll take a Jim Creighton uniform with unimpeachable provenance.

Or maybe to be nine years old again and opening packs of 50 cent Topps product. Which is why we all do this anyway.

More realistically: N162 Anson. Maybe the prettiest card of the 19th century.

Non-card wish: 1980's red Ferarri 328 GTS (yes, the Magnum P.I. car)

Card wish: 1915 T215 Victory Hooks Wiltse, Jersey City for my JC team collection.

Baseball related I would say a Minor League game used Wade Boggs bat. It isn't that I can't afford one. I am just too cheap to pay that much for most things hobby related.

My dream set is the one that I let get away in the spring 2016 REA.

https://robertedwardauctions.com/arc...ter-collection

Lionel Carter's first set that he collected - the 33 Delong's - with SGC provenance of each card.

I remember coming in after the auction was over and lamented about it. I then had someone hit me up in my DMs and said that they bought it for their client but they would be willing to work out a deal. I would have had to flip a couple of things to get the cash (in order to stay happily married). So, the conversation quickly stopped.

I'd like to have that one back.

What is your birthday DREAM gift ???

What is your Christmas DREAM gift ??

What cards do you normally DREAM about ???

I WISH my wife would buy me ...

I say this to all of you: how about you turn that DREAM into a REALITY ???

Make some moves and get it!!!

How hard is that ??

I don't necessarily disagree with turning dreams into reality.

But speaking your dream is the first step to making it a reality. Even if it's just typing it on Net54. So I like these threads.

Similar cards on my list. Mainly, an early Ruth with him still on the Red Sox and some early Joe Jackson.

David,

That picture of the Boston Store Joe Jackson, was my old card. I sold it back in 2018.

Also, Jeff does the E300 Plow Chase actually exist? I would love to see a scan as well.

Tony, I have never seen an image of it and I’ve been looking for 20 years.
