Not in 2010
The Mathewson "error-back" will definitely not be in the 2010 catalog. That went to press long ago, and before I re-signed with the outfit.
I am currently planning to add it to the 2011 book, along the lines of . . . (124b) C, Mathewson (1908 G.L. 1, should be 11. Cycle back only) |

SGC Back
Hey Lance,
Others will certainly give more specifics, but that's an earlier form of the SGC back. Not sure exactly how many there have been, or where that fits in the evolution, but there have been at least a couple of changes. -- Mike |

I thought something looked different with your Grimes versus mine. Note the location of the photographer attribution at the bottom.

Great stuff so far, especially the N172 Kelly. I've never seen that pose before.

Jeff - if it was without the Carter on the flip before, what did you have to provide to SGC to prove to them it was Carter's card?
|
A note from the auctioneer which indicated that it was part of Carter's Tip Top set.

The August catch from the Sea of Mediocrity . . .

That list of pickups is anything but mediocre.

He's a Registry god.

With very poor people skills :) David, I wouldn't mind swimming in that sea of mediocracy! Great pick ups. Thanks for sharing. |

Nice stuff David. Love the Jax and nice "rough" M116. I must of missed that auction :).
Picked this up in the Legacy shindig this past weekend. I fear I may have drifted into the "groups" territory and out of the "sea" with this pickup as they say it is the highest graded but I don't really care. Just wanted the card in a presentable look ;). |
David
How did I miss my guy, What a great card!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind if I keep a scan just to admire? A PSA 7 wow.

I had a pretty big month (I'll be having a lean pocket for dinner tonight). The T213 and the Wagner were from Goodwin. I apologize about the picture sizes, I'm terrible at that sort of stuff.
|
jupin - welcome to the forum and congrats on the nice pickups!
Just remember, food only stays around in your system for a day or two; cards last forever. |
Thanks Matt.
By the way, lean pockets generally only stay in the system for 30-45 minutes, so your rationale makes even more sense. |

I was stunned to win this so cheaply. Barney is one of the keys and hardest to find Domino Discs in the set and I got it for a song. Domino Discs have really been on fire lately and its always better to buy them unslabbed price-wise.
Picked up a couple more T210s, that's 25 in the last 10 days. |

Posted this on the memorabilia side as well. Originally from the Jeff Morey collection, by way of a trade with a very generous collector.

With these two, I just need Keeler to have a representation of all the HOFers from the T206 set, not including Wagner and Plank which I will never own.
