Not a ticket, but ticket adjacent. St. Louis Cardinals ticket office folder for the 1968 World Series. Could imagine going up to the counter and picking this up at the old Busch Stadium. Kind of a lost art form now with tickets being so accessible through QR codes.

Someone on the Facebook Group Ken Griffey Jr Sportscard Universe shared their Griffey HR ticket collection. 573 tickets total that represent each of his regular season homeruns. He had them all laid out in the photo, and they looked like ants.

Pedestrian ticket but a milestone for my efforts. This is the 100th 1971 Pirates regular season ticket I’ve picked up in the last 5 years. I need another 53 to complete the season. If you have any I might need and are willing to sell/trade please let me know. Thanks!

Did you go to the game? I noticed that the Islanders had a page on their website where you could get one of these, but you needed to provided the section/row/seat number that you sat in for the game.

This ticket is from someone who bought it the day of and used it for entry to the game (it is dated 4/6/25 on it).

The tickets the Isles are offering after the fact I believe (hope) they will be marked either as Reprint, or Commemorative, or Dated after 4/6/25, or some distinguishing feature.

Word is they will mailed out from the Islanders on or after 4/25/25.

We will know soon as they are sure to flood Ebay once they are in.

These are currently on their way back from PSA. I believe I bought all these from a fellow member a while ago and finally got them graded. A pair of tickets from both of Roger Clemens 20K games and Gem Mint 10s from Barry Bonds 500th SB and 500th HR games.

BRoberts 06-03-2025 04:48 PM

Ben,

I'm not familiar with all of the intricacies of PSA's ticket grading. Why the "authentic" on the two Clemens tickets?

Thanks.

I would guess because of the angled cut from separating the tickets. It's my first time getting tickets graded so not 100% sure.

I am working on acquiring a stub from every NBA Finals game Michael Jordan played in. I have 24/35 so far. I need the first 2 home games and both away games from '91, game 6 form '93 and all of the away games for '97 and '98 - please reach out if you have any of the one I need. Picture to follow when I can get to them.

Howard are you in Boogers ticket stubs, the Facebook group? You may want to reach out to Andrew Goldberg. He’s trying to collect every MJ ticket and may have duplicates.

Nice tickets Ryan. What motivated you to start collecting tickets?

Rhotchkiss 07-29-2025 01:49 PM

Thanks guys. Good question. Two things, really:

1. I recently sold over 90% of my collection (bulk not value), and I owned lots of good stuff. I have kind of been to the mountain top with cards (a 524 t06 set, complete 1914 CJ, E107, D304, T3 sets, etc), tons of Wagners, Cobbs, Ruth’s, Planks, Matty, Young, etc. I am still a collector but I owned examples of almost every card I find interesting in auction houses and I don’t want to require what I have already owned, especially at today’s prices. But I want to still collect iconic and important historic items - I can do that with tickets and they are new to me and exciting.

2. I see a lot of upside in tickets (value). I am an investor who collects, and I see tickets as being very investible, especially compared to cards which are very highly priced right now. So I am collecting tickets!

I agree Ryan. I went all in on tickets a couple of years ago after climbing some other collecting mountains and I have been having a blast collecting tickets. Many tickets are cool, iconic and historic and in very limited supply. There are some great passionate collectors in this genre that you will enjoy getting to know. I am happy to help anytime. It’s terrific to have an impressive collector like you enter this exciting space. Enjoy your new journey!

I know posted this on the main board last month, but since it is ticket related why not one more. This is how I am displaying my Mantle World Series HR Run. It is now on my wall of my office and I get asked about it on almost every virtual call.

You bought all of those in the past 6 months?!?! That is pretty insane.

perezfan 08-04-2025 07:53 PM

Well, they aren't exactly "tickets" in the true sense of the word.... but they would get you admitted into the games!

Here's a video we just did on New York Giants' Silver Season Passes. You don't see these often, and I can't recall any previous posts about them on net54.

So here's the video for anyone who's interested, and sorry if they don't exactly fit the category of "Tickets"....

What kind of value would you place on a Spahn 300th win stub in a PSA 3 holder? I'm looking at a trade and could use a frame of reference. Any input would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how to take the lack of any responses. Is it that tough that assigning a value is too difficult? I only found 1 ungraded example in my searches as well as 1 graded example in a registry set. I paid next to nothing for it so I honestly don't have a clue as to value.

Not sure if this helps but it should provide a frame of reference. Two years ago I sold this PSA 5 full ticket to Spahn’s 327th win through Heritage for $625. This win passed Plank and made Spahn the all time winningest Lefty. For whatever reason Spahn doesn’t seem to receive the love he should.

Spahn is absolutely one of the most underappreciated stars of the game.

John,
FYI, Spahn's 300th win ticket is surprisingly difficult to find even though Milwaukee Braves tickets as a whole are easier to find than most.

I personally have owned two that I bought more than 25 years ago, one of which I still own in my personal collection which is not slabbed.

I'd estimate it's value to be somewhere in the $750-$1,000 range, but that is a guess because I have no recent comps to compare it to.

Hope this helps! ;)

Thanks, I appreciate it. That's more than I would have guessed. I think I'll hold off on my trade. It was for a PSA 7 Spahn full no-hitter which I pegged pretty close to that value. I already have a stub for that game graded A.

If the Spahn no-hitter F/T from his 1st in 1960, there are considerably more of those than the 300th win in the hobby.
After speaking to others re: your 300th win ticket, I would now adjust the value at being $1,000+, FWIW
