Heres a few of mine. Pretty cool fact on Adcock, He never played for Boston. Only Milwaukee, so this is a spring training/publicity photo taken shortly before the move.

I'm sorry for my ignorance but I really don't collect many photos so I really don't know how to tell type 1, type 2 etc. My photo has this on the back, does that help m know which it is?

I love the picture and didn't pay much for it, so if it's a reprint that's ok. Thanks for the knowledge!

Always happy for the free weekend at newspapers.com so I can start matching up my photos to their newspaper use. Here's a fun one:

My first ever PSA submission was a success! Sure condition isn’t the best but I got this from a local thrift shop for $15!

I don't normally go for wire photos but this was a very special case: Larry Doby signed by Bill Veeck of Cleveland and integrating the American League. Super happy to add another MLB pioneer in their Negro Leagues uniform to my collection. Attachment 616696

Not really a wire photo guy either, but just picked up this shot of Jackie's last MLB hit. 10th inning walk-off hit Game 6 1956 World Series.

I just added these two in the same week (crazy luck what can I say)
Reds 1949 Bowman and 1955 Robert Gould Card images alongside my cards of the two. The Bowman is my first mainstream type 1 card image. Bowman image by famous cardinals photographer George Dorrill and the Gould image of course done by the legend himself, Jacobellis. This brings me to 4 type 1 original card images of Red. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4d6ffc78f6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9300d794f8.jpg |

crazing
This is an example of a photo being subjected to too much heat or dampness.
It's OLD. When a photo crinkles up like this, it is called crazing. Look up Coyle Studios for an explanation of crazing. The photo is a Type I. |

I recently picked up this 1929 R316 5x7 photo of Jimmy Foxx. I believe this can also be viewed as a Type 1 photo. I've always liked this image which was used for Foxx's 1933 Goudey.
