I did a wire transfer last Tuesday and still don't have any indication of a shipment date... hmmm.

ack! they are sitting on consignment money of mine as well, but I wanted the stuff quick so I sent my payment via wire. This is a direct quote from my invoice:

The last time I won something from Heritage it took so long to get the item that when I received the package I actually had forgotten that I won something from them.

I don't doubt the folks horror stories on shipping at all, but for me HA has always been very good on shipping not to mention some of the best packing in the biz IMO.

E-Check seems to be the way to go for Heritage. I paid via e-check on Monday of last week, and got my package in Boston on Saturday. That has historically been the case with them, so I would suggest that payment method to anyone having issues with them.

Diggin' all the pickups this month so far, fellas!

Nice to add this one back to the collection. Love everything about this card... the two-handed grip, the intense stare, the woodgrain of the bat, the pulled up collar -- all set against a beautiful sunset background. Oh... and it's Ty Cobb. Card sits in a PSA 3.5 holder due to a minor crease:

Sent an email to my consignment director and within minutes he responded (twice) to let me know that he would make sure that the lot would ship tomorrow. Very happy that he responded so quickly and with a plan of action.

Couldn't bid on most of the T210s on ebay last night because I was eating with the folks at Olive Garden :( but managed to snag two to add to the set while waiting for the check.

Nice Malcolm, Jason. That was one I had my eye on. My eating lasagna with the folks probably saved you a lot of money. :D You're right about the strong bids, upwards of $700 for raw T210s was a stunner. I was a little worried about the top borders on many of the cards, felt they looked like they might be trimmed but where else are you going to find tough Series 7 cards for sale?

Congrats Phil! I remember seeing that at one of the AHs earlier this year. I didn't realize it was a PC...thought it was "just" a photo.

Yes the 7 bills for the Cross was a shock.I was in on it early but it didn't take long for me to be outbid.I agree,I saw a lot of borders that looked wavy.I picked up a Morgan Im sure is trimmed,but like you said,where else are you going to find them.Overall I'm very happy and the seller was a great guy.Here is another I finally crossed off,I have missed or passed on a few this year and didn't want lose this one.
