I am guessing Mulkey was thinking (1) if Clark is on nobody is really going to stop her anyway, and (2) Flau'jae's energies were better spent on the offensive end not exhausting herself chasing Clark. I wouldn't blame the loss on Mulkey. LSU shot really poorly after the first quarter, and Reese was hurt too although she gave it her all.
