Eddie Collins is one of the most underappreciated HOF members, and evidently everyone has forgotten to send him a T206 birthday card on his day. And he got all dressed up in his frumpiest best for the occasion...look at how sad he seems.
Brian (Happy Birthday Eddie...may the following posts shower you with T206 cards. And by the way, W575-2 card not mine) |

On August 11, 1907, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, Ed Karger pitched a perfect game through 7 innings. The game was ended due to a prior mutual agreement between the Cards and the Boston Doves. It was the second game of a doubleheader, and the rules of the time permitted the teams to decide on a seven-inning game in that circumstance. It is the only major league abridged perfect game or no-hitter that was not abridged by weather or darkness. -- Baseball Reference.

My favorite T206 action pose. I only need his BROAD LEAF 350 card to complete this run. Ted I believe I have a scrap Dolan if you are interested. For your run... Brendan |

When it comes to T206, quite often I prefer Piedmont Vanilla. Sometimes I have a hankering for Sweet Caporal Chocolate Chip.

Nice AB Ted.
Nice mix of backs Colton. Nice 42 Scott I have only seen one of him in a factory 42 come up for sale (same one sold twice) and it was very trimmed. Nice vanilla Jacklitsch Brian. |
