That same weekend of Strongsville, SGC was taking submissions at 3 other Trade shows... so 4 total shows that weekend alone.

Must have hit them pretty hard, but my cards finally moved to "post grading" yesterday (still no published grades). At least it's a sign of progress.

Mine are shipping out today, so only a day in post grading. 29 business day turnaround time total.

Had 5 show received since 4-22-25, today, 5-23-25 went to post-grading. Went for the 15-20 turn around time.
So what would happen if someone pays for the immediate service? it shows 1-2 day turn around time. I'm guessing there is no way that can be accurate? I'd sure hate to pay all that extra and still wait days or weeks. Anyone know the true turn around time on their "immediate" service.

Immediate Service is meeting the stated deadline.

15 card order

I submitted 15 cards...mixture of T206s and golden age vintage at Strongsville on April 12th. Received them today. So about 6 weeks.

Still months quicker than PSA.

I haven't looked at the grades yet since I plan on making a YouTube video showing them. Hopefully I'll get some pleasant surprises...

SGC processing times

I'm right on with Donmuth. Submitted April 11 and in hand today, May 25.
That's a 6-week total turnaround. About 2 weeks behind the stated time,
I'll take it though. One observation- once my submission got the "post
grading processing" status update on their site, things went really fast.

On April 5th, I submittd 17 cards (14 pre-War & 3 post-War) to SGC at the Chantilly Show. These are NOT run-of-the-mill cards. The SGC web site showed the cards were graded on May 13th and in "Post-Grading Processing." On June 4th, I emailed the SGC rep I have communicated with in the past and asked him to kindly find out if there is something specific that is delaying my order. On June 6th, I received an email from SGC notifying me that my order is being shipped and the FedEX tracking number. Today, Sunday June 8th, I received my cards.

I am pleased with the grades overall, as most were what I expected or better. I am even more pleased that the three W514 cards of Sam Rice with printed (I believe) ad backs - Barker Bread, Hendlers Ice Cream, and Mother's Bread/Besta Cake - that I submitted not only received numerical grades, but the advertisers are noted on the labels. I was concerned they wouldn't be, because SGC no longer will note the names of advertisers that are stamped on the card backs (e.g., Henry A. Johnson Wholesale Confectioner and Wool's Bread).

However, all is not roses. In their 3rd go at correctly grading and labeling my 1955 Topps Hocus Focus card #3 of Dick Groat, SGC got it wrong again. The incorrect results thus far are:
- 1st go: This card was erroneously labeled as a 1956 Hocus Focus card #1 of Groat. BTW, my sub did also include a 1956 Hocus Focus card #1 of Groat. SGC put identical labels on both the 1955 and 1956 cards!
- 2nd go: The SGC label now shows the correct year and correct card number. But, the new label says "Authentic - Minimum Size Not Met." This card measures exactly the size it should, as stated in the Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards. SGC will not tell me what reference they used to determine that minimum size was not met.
- 3rd go: This 1955 card #3 of Groat is graded a 2, which pleases me. However, the label again erroneously identifies this card as a 1956 Hocus Focus card #1 of Groat. Sigh! I'll give this card to SGC at the upcoming Chantilly Show for a 4th go at getting it right!

They received about 10 cards from me on 5/27. Still in Received today, 6/17.

I am happy to report on my SGC submission. Cards received into their system on 6/4 and grades posted on 6/25. I think that works out to 15 business days.
