Ben, I think you're being a little harsh. I mean...at least he has gotten better over the years. No? All Kidding aside, I have to say that these are really great. I can't decide which I like the best. That's saying a lot considering how partial I am to Gehrig. Wow...Just Wow. Really special dude! |
Hey all,
Hope everyone's having a nice end to their summers. Lord knows it's been hot as all hell in New York. Here are two more I just got back from the photographers: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...914_Conlon.jpg Walter Johnson, 1914, 20" x 20" http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1..._1912_Bats.jpg Honus Wagner, 1912, 24" x 30" These are two of my favorite images, by far. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Honus' sweater, as well as Walter's gaze in that Conlon image. A special thanks has to go out to Hank Thomas for the latter, as he provided me with the correct info on his granddad's eyes. As per usual, all comments and suggestions are always appreciated. Thanks, Graig |
Amazing as usual...great work!

just wow.
I've exhausted all my adjectives earlier in this thread. |
Thanks so much, everyone!! :)
I'm thrilled you dig these two! Graig |
Those are just crazy man!
How is it possible that you're getting better? Johnson's stare is out of this world. Holy crap! Is it me or does Wagner's sweater actually look furry? Dude. I agree with terjung. I have run out of new adjectives. Very very special! Keep up the great work. Mark |
I'm not saying those paintings are lifelike, but I just had a nice conversation with the Walter Johnson...he says hi by the way. :D
