Billiards and boating
Picked up this miniature c1900 billiard table last weekend at the Glendale Show. It was made by Slazenger and Sons of London...Paid up for it since I had never seen another...and thought it was a salesman sample....after close study I'm not sure...research pending...I believe Slazenger is/was one of the biggest sporting goods makers in England...I was impressed the woven fabric pockets seem original and in v good condition...But after I got it back to my hotel room I realized it's missing the cushions...so need to restore...may replace the baize while I'm at it...But at least it's rare...I discussed with the biggest antique billiards expert dealer and he's seen two of these Slazenger's in 40 years...Also below two powerboat antiques pickups...
