The white arm band variant is quite common. Not sure if it was a DP difference, a long running print defect, or a correction. Maybe a print/sheet expert knows

I've had a couple 54 Mays through the years, and once had a raw arm band version...wish I still had that!

I submitted this one myself, was hoping for a 3...got a 1.5. To be fair, there is a small water stain on the back. I love this card...classic Post War treasure...

He finished his playing career with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1963. His best year was with the Phillies in 1962 as posted a .366 OBP in 96 plate appearances.
