Pretty sketchy 1990 Thomas NNOF...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/39441059057...Q&LH_Auction=1

So, who thinks this clearly PSA graded, yet completely unmentioned, 1990 NNOF Thomas is really going to get mailed as shown?

I don't think I personally would be bidding it up to 1600 with a zero feedback.

I would say he may have stolen the images but why would he put the cert number in his listing. Here's the card with the cert number he used in the listing.

Good eye, I didn’t even notice that in the details.

Looks like he stole scans from here and didn’t know enough to leave that out.

It's a zero feedback seller. Should tell you all you need to know.

I'm wondering why anyone ever goes through the trouble to perpetuate these obvious frauds, who are the idiots bidding, and how are all these sellers not rounded up for wire fraud after the listing is found to be obviously fraudulent with mal intent? Don't you need to have a proper bank account to accept payouts now? That would make all these frauds very simple cases in criminal court.

No way I'd bid on that, but I'm all in on the Honda Civic head light assembly!

Wish I would have had the foresight. I honestly thought it was overpriced back then for what I considered a minor error. Needless to say, proven pretty wrong there. :D

I am right there with you. I was heavily collecting Thomas when this error really started to take off and was offered one for around $200-250.
I thought it was ridiculous, however there wasn't even a chance I was going to bite as the card had soft corners and was just not quite nice enough for me to even consider spending that much. I might have dropped $50 on one in that shape and probably still would have made out nicely..

If this card is legit why in the world not get it graded in that condition?

It is a very poor quality inkjet fake. These super-saturated copies were all over ebay during the covid card boom.
