1954 Topps Uncut Sheet Arrays

WTH, let's go for 1954 too! For a long time I thought this was a 100 card array but I was using a cleaned up scan. I just re-found the raw scan and believe 1954 was a 110 card array after looking at that top edge. Either way, it's a weird one, with a big gap in the known slit. They also appear to have used glass in the printing of the set at Lord Baltimore, see Lelands ad from 7/17/92 SCD.

This would be one gorgeous sheet to have on your wall!

Have at it!

I enlarged that top row partial.

I took a look at the 100-card sheet, and it includes card numbers 126-150 and 176-250. I believe that the partial row visible is a repeat of the second visible row (i.e. Harmon, Williams, etc.) - it looks like it matches. Thanks for posting so many interesting images of the 1954 sheets!

Yeah the big gap in a relatively small set is interesting. Did the other slit fill in the missing numbers or did they just massively stagger things in 1954? I suspect the latter. Some early guides had it as a six series set, with two 25 card series and four of 50. I think that was due to Topps leaving the gaps.
