Baseball-Adjacent Cards

Picked up this N107 Helen Dauvray last night, the namesake behind the Dauvray Cup of baseball's first World Series, and it got me thinking- what're your favorite/most unique baseball adjacent cards?

The hand holding the baseball bat is likely attached to a baseball player adjacent to the gentleman getting whacked in the head, as is depicted in this T203 card.

DeWolf Hopper

Stage actor DeWolf Hopper's dramatic performances helped make "Casey at the Bat" famous (and vice versa, that being the main reason he's remembered today).

1933 Diamond Match Lionel Conacher. He was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball team that won the International League championship in 1926.

I like how the matchbook creators shifted Lionel all the way to the left, so as to completely show his outstretched hockey stick.

This plus my 1939 Play Ball Babe Dahlgren fill in for Lou Gehrig in my collection.

The Clown Prince of Baseball

Although he could pitch a little bit (14-10 over three seasons with Washington) and may have been an excellent third-base coach (Joe Cronin took him with him to Boston), by the time this card was issued, Al Schacht was functioning as a baseball-entertainer, the beloved "Clown Prince of Baseball", whose act thrived adjacent to baseball.
