Let's play UNO! Although these "rules" won't have any Skip cards, nor Wild Draw Four cards...and you post two cards to play...
How to play:
I'll start with T206 WaJo hands-at-chest. Next up, someone post a WaJo hands-at-chest and then play a new card. Cheers, Steve |

My kids, grandkids, and I have really "spirited" games of UNO whenever we all get together!

Oops I guess I can't follow directions.

Thanks for playing along, everyone! I thought this thread met an early end -- kudos for the creative revival!

Hi Steve
I'm not sure I'm following your rules with these two. Also, the E104 Lord (actually pix of Magee) may be a tough "show-stopper". If so, then I'll replace this card. http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...ottonchase.jpg . http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...ottonchase.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...04brislord.jpg TED Z . |

Hey Ted!
Thanks for playing. You have the right idea, but the current card "in play" to match is Luke's T207 Leach. (I matched the Chase and played the Speaker. Luke matched Speaker and played Leach.) Cheers, Steve ============ Updated -- Just for continuity's sake, I'm adding in my T207 Leach to match Luke's and then playing my T213-2 Leach to lead into Ted's. Thank you all for playing! :) |

Wow, beautiful Cobb, Sam! Thank you all for keeping the game moving along -- this is fun!
I added in my own T207 Leach and T213 Leach to "bridge the gap" between Luke and Ted in my earlier post. Keep em coming! |

Deleted.

Ted - I think the rule is that you have to match the prior card, not just the player. So you would need to play a DeLong Grove instead of the Goudey.
Great cards! |

Re. Post #6, I guess Rob didn't follow the rules, either. Although, he posted some neat cards Therefore, I took some leeway by posting my 1933 Goudey Lefty Grove. There, are certain tough cards, that may be posted here that will completely "shut down" this game. Then what ? Anyhow, I deleted my scans in post #17. TED Z . |
Hey guys,
Thanks for taking an interest in the game! Dan and Ted both make accurate statements -- we're looking to match the card fronts to keep UNO going. Rob didn't technically play the same card front, but he was able to restart the thread after it hit a five-day lull, so breathing a little life into it was fun! Ted, I agree, hopefully we can avoid any super-rare "shut down" cards in this one. The DeLong Grove has a good number in the pop reports, so here's to hoping that someone will play it! (The Colgan's Chips Wagner also has a healthy number, so I'm surprised that someone wasn't able to play that one as well.) Thank you all for playing along...I've very much enjoyed this, and I hope that others will join in as well. Cheers, Steve |

Perhaps, a "Fail-Safe" clause is required to prevent "shut-down" situations. For example, I'm tempted to post a DeLong "Lefty" O'Doul in order to break the ice at this point (since no DeLong Grove is popping up). So, this clause would allow same Brand, but different subject to be posted if original subject is not matched within several days. Just a suggestion :) TED Z . |
Here's a DIFFERENT Grove DeLong with a new card.

In order to continue this game, here's the Ted Williams card (on left) from my 2nd 1949 LEAF BB card set. And, the LEAF Musial is the new card.
