Uncommon Common in 1933 Goudey set

My latest SABR Baseball Cards article takes a look at the great Charlie Berry. Who?! [emoji1787]

Great article, thanks for posting. The Pottsville roots are fascinating along with the rest of his journey. Everyone knows the stories of the big names, but it's great to shine a light on these lesser known players. It seems that with enough research, many times, these "common" players have interesting stories too.

That was very interesting. Thanks for writing it.

Thanks...Berry is no longer a common fruit in the 1933 Goudey set for me. There should be a Hall of Fame that specifically consists of just such cross-sport individuals such as Charlie.

No doubt! Makes me want to dig in to even more of the player’s stories.
