Looking For The Next Net54baseball Front Page Live Auction...

If anyone would like to do a live auction, something like we just did, please pm me and we can talk about it. I don't want to hog the spot but if there are no takers I think I have quite a few things to auction.....Preferring one auction at a time for now. The main thing is that if you do it your item has to sell. No 100 dollar items with 100 dollar starting bids LOL...

For the last 5 days there was a Live Auction on the front page. It was pinned to the top the last 2 days. It was for a T206 Cobb but future items will most likely be less.
It's still on the front page about half way down..

I'm interested for sure. What's the cutoff the date range of cards going forward?

I've got some items either way and would love to participate.

I was curious if we could go as high as say 1967 as the cutoff (I'm kidding, but genuinely curious?)

Thanks......

Post war?

So what do yawl think about post war cards being for sale in one of these auctions? Personally, I like doing only wwII or older but want to get some feedback. Thanks...

I like the idea of both, but maybe running less often and simultaneously with prewar as to not take away from the main focus.

My vote is to sell any year card as long as it starts at $1 and is worth over $100. I also like the current listing of several lower grade T206s.

Hi Leon

I found some old items from my early days of collecting.
I will go thru them this weekend but I believe I have somethings that might work for the auction

I noticed the shipping on these auctions is "your choice your peril". What exactly does that mean, to me it says you can bid and win but as the seller I don't guarantee you will receive anything. I received the card I won but won't be bidding again if delivery of item in not guaranteed.

That is idiotic. The buyer pays for whatever shipping and/or insurance they want. The seller is responsible for shipping the item but not delivery. I am sending those 7 T206s out today, first class with tracking. God forbid they get lost it's not on me as the buyer didn't pay for insurance ( I wouldn't have either) So when I ship them and give a tracking number my liability is over.

I can't image a good member trying to scam on one of these. We can address it if it happens. And if anyone has any doubts just don't bid. No one will care.
