Question - 1992-93 Topps NBA Basketball
 

This box was in a collection I purchased a few months ago. I see it's going for $350+/- on eBay.

I don't know anything about this set. I understand we could get a Shaq RC. I assume the odds of getting a Topps Gold Shaq RC is probably slim. Any idea how slim?

Can any of you please tell me more about this set? Are any other cards valuable? I assume Jordan and Shaq.

I'm just wondering if we should open it and see what happens.

Shaq Gold is the card to get but a Jordan Gold wouldn't be bad either but thats assuming its nice and you go get it graded and wait a year....and they are parallels so you are just as likely to get Clarence Weatherspoon and end up with a $30 box of cards. Good luck!!!

If you wanted a Shaq gold you could probably sell the set and buy a decent one. I wouldn't crack it either.
