8 yo son wants to buy Brady RC
 

I don't collect football. I know Brady RC are expensive. But my 8yo son is a Brady fan cuz his g'pa turned him against the Seahwaks. G'pa passed away just before xmas, so this would be kinda like a last memento type thing. Is there an ungraded version that I should look for that would be closer to earth that my son could help contribute towards?

The ones that come to mind to look are the Fleer Tradition combo rookie and the Skybox Impact card. I doubt any of them are really within the budget of an 8 year old to make significant contribution, but maybe you're more generous than my parents were with cash for chores ;).

Most of the ones in college uniform (GO BLUE) are significantly less money. That said, none of them are cheap any more.

G'pa left a cash Christmas gift. I thought of spending part on my son. It should be enough to buy an ungraded Brady card. My son wants to save for something, his $10/ month allowance wil only add up so fast. So we could set a goal amount that he would contribute and then pair it with the gift money.
