So I posted earlier in the BST looking for T213 Pirates. I post my email address. I get this initial email:

"Hi mate,I just saw your ads saying you are interested in buying T213 card.
I think I might have the one perfect for you and would love to do business with you.Just let me know if you still want it and where you are located.? "

I'm already suspicious. I send back:

"Why don't you start by sending me high res front and back scans? "

The response:

Yeah, I can do that. With the pictures, I have attached - attached!

Had to laugh - must be the super rare Diamond T213's!

“Hi Mate”, “I have the perfect one for you”…. Yup, those are two phrases I hear all the time from viable BST counter parties

Thanks for posting his email! I'm currently working on a deal for a Wagner from him. It's amazing how many really rare cards this guy has!

Start posting your white whales you can’t even find photos of online. See if these scammers can get one and offer you the item for sale. Put em to work.

No red light districts in Australia. Prostitution is legal in the whole country; regulated or licensed in some states and not in others. Brothels are legal in New South Wales where Sydney is located and in Queensland, home of Brisbane, Surfer's Paradise and the Gold Coast. NSW was the first state to decriminalize prostitution in 1979 and legalized brothels under the Summary Offenses Act of 1988. In all of the time I have been there I have never seen anyone that looked like a streetwalker. I would guess the brothels are a little more subtle with their appearance as I have never noticed one.

Love Sydney! Was there on USS Independence CV-62 in 1992 for the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea. They made a real big deal about having us in port for about a week. Some crazy number of people visited the ship. I only had one duty day while we were in port, so got to see a lot. The Rocks, Bondai Beach, Sydney Aquarium. If not for the language, it seemed very much like California.
