1948 Dodgers Ball - Facsimile???

Hi all, this Brooklyn Dodgers team signed ball has been shellacked and the signatures aren't particularly bold. Can anyone offer an opinion as to whether the signatures are stamped? I just can't tell. Photos below. Thank you.

Yes, it is a stamped ball. No overlapping of the signatures. You can also see where some of the signatures go right into the holes especially what looks like Gene Hermanski just below Jackie Robinson and Billy Loes? on the sweet spot in the second photo. No one could sign their name into the holes on a ball and continue the signature as if they are writing on a piece of paper.

I agree, it appears to be a stamped ball. Why would any one shellac a stamped ball?

If ebay and the FB groups are any indicator, too many people can't seem to tell the difference between a hand signed ball and a stamped ball, so perhaps someone thought it was real at some point.
