Still looks better than a lot of drivers license pictures people have.

My Leo to start today off.

ALR-bishop 03-07-2021 07:20 AM

Leo has 3 cards on the H&S Super list....orange or beige backgrounds. I have not found a compelling difference, maybe someone else has

Currently, in Easternmost Maine (Atlantic Standard Time) it's Monday here; therefore, I'll start this day with Ray Boone (#55).

I've got to admit, I love getting up and looking at all of your cards everyday! Thanks for your posts everyone.

The H&S Super set lists 4 Boones, 2 reds and 2 blacks. Top 2 are blacks and bottom 2 are reds

The difference between the black backs is a lot easier to see than the difference between the red backs. For the red backs, the most notable difference seems to be the color of Boone's face not the background. Is there a more noticeable difference in the background between the red backs in hand?

ALR-bishop 03-08-2021 12:47 PM

The checklist for black backs indicates dark olive and light green. For red it is light olive and dark olive.

My Tommy...

ALR-bishop 03-09-2021 06:56 AM

Tommy has two versions but they involve both front and back. In addition to a red or black back he can have a yellow or white team logo which in all cases coincides with the same back color....BB = white

This is a great thread, I enjoy the cards and the comments. For me it is a daily lesson on the 52T Master Set.

Here is my Ed Lopat red back in its former SGC case. It has been cracked out and sent to PSA in the hope of it getting a 6 from them.

Rules should always have some flexibility. I kind of like the 24 hour rule. Does it start at midnight ? Does it matter what time zone applies or if we are in standard or daylight savings time ? :)

It would be really sad if you had a card you really wanted to post and waited patiently....and then got distracted by life beyond cards. Maybe you could apply for a out of time posting waiver

I used to back when I could actually leave the house to do something, but for the past year, not so much.
