At the Negro League Museum in KC last summer Bob Kendrick told the story of getting a call from Getty Lee's representative offering to send some baseballs signed by Negro League players. Bob K. said he was expecting a Priority Mail box with a few balls. Instead, they were surprised with cases containing several hundred signed baseballs. They made for an impressive display.
