Help with two faded HOF signatures please- Rogers Hornsby and Hack Wilson only

Are there any Hornsby and Hack Wilson experts out there?

Ok, I know these are badly faded on a heavily toned ball, but any input would be greatly appreciated. Do you think these are authentic?

I just wanted some opinions on the Rogers Hornsby and Hack Wilson signatures on this 1931 partially signed team ball. The Hack Wilson signature is just above Riggs Stephenson and the Rogers Hornsby signature should be visible. (I'm under the impression that the Gabby Hartnett is a clubhouse sig...the one below Riggs Stephenson)

Any thoughts/feeback? And sorry if you have to strain your eyes to see these poor sigs.:(

The Hornsby is probably okay but it's really hard to see for certain. The clubhouse ones are pretty easy to spot as they do not really look close. Also, most clubhouse ones I have found are from his post playing days when he was coaching. It should be noted too though that he had somewhat of a light hand, there are a few areas of that one that look darker, so beware the dreaded traced or enhanced signature.

I think they look good, but I am by no means an expert. Hack Wilson was not on the Cubs in 1932...so you may need to date that ball a little earlier...perhaps to '31?

Thanks, Jeff. Yeah, I was looking at the dark areas as well, but it doesn't appear this one was traced as it's only in a few spots where the ink is a bit darker. The whole ball is pretty faded, so it's hard to truly tell though.

And you're right, Andrew..it was 1931 not 1932. I just made that edit now. Thanks for pointing that out.
