Fantastic Cleveland Browns pennant
I was going through my phone and came across this photo. I do not recall where I got this image from but figured I would share it here for those interested in Cleveland and/or vintage pennants. Very awesome!

Very cool... Never seen that one. I wonder if Showdawg is aware of it...
You should post it to the "Hey Pennant Guys" thread as well. Truly awesome pennant! |
It is a cool pennant and very rare...but it is not vintage. I have one but haven't put it on my website because I suspect it's a modern creation. Can't find any record of it though. Not sure who made it.

Im not saying youre wrong. I have no clue but I thought it was pretty sweet. Is the felt soft or stiff? Thats generally a good indicator |
There are plenty of remakes with soft felt. Yes, the vast majority of pennants made post-1970 are generally stiff "felt" (if you can even call it felt).
But there are many reproduction and fantasy pennants that used soft felt. It is a different type of felt, but very soft none-the-less. When you have it in-hand, you can tell the difference from the repros and the vintage ones. This one would likely be considered a fantasy pennant, as there is probably no original version that it is based upon. |
