I think I am the one that bought your card, if I remember correctly...Crap, as much stuff as I buy I might as well stick my nose in every thread...I still think there is some mystery surrounding the borders on these. I believe Lew Lipset told me that all of them have the thin borders and at one time it was thought they had bigger borders....<br /><br /><img src="http://www.luckeycards.com/personalm117sportingtimesmitchell.jpg">

Posted By: <b>david</b><p>i have to double check but an old REA auction might have had some of these with the 'trimmed' borders where rob said all the ones outside of the burdick collection are that way. they are interesting cards that i wish showed up more often
