I'm thinking of starting a collection of BCCG 7 or higher! OMG!

This is actually embarrassing! :eek:

Read the flip. BCCG 6 is "Good or better", so a big stain is permissible on cards that would grade a BGS 2. The scale is completely different than a standard 10 point scale, as it starts with BCCG 5: Poor or better.

It's a good thing MLB wasn't testing for caffeine. Roger would have been soooooo busted.

Hmm is that why I was able to get this BCCG 10 card that is not even close to being mint?

Border chipping can be forgiven by a few different grading companies, but Mint or Better BCCGs normally come out to an 8.5 or 9 when reslabbed by BGS.

Or in the case of the 1984 Clemens..... a PSA 1 (ST) which is an appropriate -1 for Registry sets! :D hahahahhahahahahahha

Cream or Sugar with that Clemens RC?

lol

A 1(ST) is worth a 1. So is an AUTH.

Strangely enough, a Good 2(Q) is worth a 1, but a Fair 1.5(Q) is worth 1.5, so a lower conditioned card is worth more for the registry.

Bonus Points and Deductions
Some sets may have bonus points assigned to certain items within a set.

Additionally, the following point deductions are taken for Qualifiers. For example, if your card or ticket is graded PSA 9Q, the grade calculation in the Registry will be 7.

9Q = -2
8Q = -2
7Q = -2
6Q = -2
5Q = -2
4Q = -2
3Q = -1
2Q = -1
1Q & 1.5Q = no deduction

Every complaint I have ever seen about BCCG is because the person does not read the flip.:D
