I thought this was worth sharing. Killer stuff, Silver Presentation bat, checks, pics, high school pic, letters, baseballs, including dated homerun balls. But the most interesting piece is the last out ball of opening day April 16th 1926, Walter Johnson goes 15 innings for the win in front of the president. This stuff has been sitting for 60 years. Lots of other items I will post soon. Hope you enjoy. Attachment 33319

Great stuff, but where's the rest of the book collection? :)
Edited to add: I wonder how many PM's Jeff has so far.... |
Holy Szymanski!! :)
Very nice, one of my favorite players of that Era |
Thanks for the responses. History is its from a family member. The baseballs are 1939 Yankee ball w/box, 1936 Indians, a couple 1920? A,s, An All-star or Japan Tour mid 30's, 3 Dated Home run balls from Simmons, still working on the others. Most were teams Simmons was on or coached. The inscribed Last Ball of Walter Johnson shutout win going 15 innings on opening day is unbelievable. It has been sitting in a drawer since the 1950's. Simmons at the time must of realized what a great game it was. Thanks, Jeff
