Baseball playoffs - does it bother anybody that...
 
As of right now, the #6 seed in the NL has a .444 winning percentage, and the #8 seed is at .462

In the AL we've got a #6 seed at .455 and the #8 seed is at .500.

That's 25% of playoff bound teams who have not won more games than they have lost...

This entire "season" is a makeshift set of exhibition games. From a historical perspective it should be ignored IMO.

That just makes it like the other sports.

Only two players over .400, and a handful fairly close. Maybe this year with the shortened season?
That should start a debate that will keep fans busy for a century or so.
