From the estate of Ed "Lefty" Taber who had a short stint in the majors with the Phillies in 1926-27. A friend of mine ended up with it. He was good friends with the Taber family.

Is that a printed image or a sketch? It's pretty sharp either way, but the folk art aspect of an original sketch of Babe signed by him is amazing.

I agree, the auto looks great. But when did Babe stop using "quotes"? I was thinking 1927, but I may be wrong about that.

Correct, but there are exceptions to the rule, especially so close to what's considered the cutoff year.
