Spalding Ring Bat - Antique Model XX

Picked this up recently in my travels and have been trying to find more information about it.
It's 33 inches. I was not able to find this specific model in any of the Spalding Guides online.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Any idea on value?

the fact it is stamped "antique" on the barrel leads me to believe it's a more modern bat...made to look older? my .02.

I have one of these bats too...mine is definitely an old bat.

The bat is a vintage Spalding bat circa 1890-1900, I believe.

This bat is made of Ash, dates to 1880's/90's and is Spalding's 2nd tier bat. The top of the line would be triple XXX or 3/0. It would have "Wagon Tongue" stamped on it. Another stamping from the same period would be "Axletree". I think they were trying plant the impression that the bats were made of aged or hardened wood. Early marketing I guess.

Thanks for the education, Bill. I'm still learning.

I was able to find some info on the bat. This is from a 1898 catalog.
