SGC Closed Today

Hi Everyone,

SGC will be closed today due to the inclement weather in our area.

We will re-open tomorrow provided the weather cooperates.

Thank you,

Brian

Are we all sick of the snow yet?!?!?!?!? Good grief another 1-2 FEET coming to NY metro area......

Irwin Fletcher 02-25-2010 06:35 AM

I'm definitely sick of it. I still have about 2 feet of snow in my front yard that hasn't melted yet.

Saw something brown in my yard today

It was dirt. The neighbors dog had been over and dug a hole. The good thing was, it was the first time we've seen the ground in our yard since Dec. 8. Bad news is, the drift between our house and his is still over five foot high. But the back yard is now down to about six inches.

It's snowing cats and dogs in NYC right now, and alternate side of the street is in effect! I have to move my car in a blizzard! That's harassment.

The forecasted high today in Dallas is 59 degrees
and I have a tee time @12:35:)

DanP 02-25-2010 07:17 AM

Just came back from a 1 day trip to Atlanta yesterday, it was 36 when we landed!

Now I'm back in CT...

Seinbigd, I could get a tee time today also. The only problem is the foot of snow still on the golf course. Tell me again why I live in the northeast?

Glad to hear it's nice in Dallas. My dogs will be able to go outside. As for where I am, Weston FL, it's kind of cool today!! No snow here.

FUBAR 02-25-2010 01:10 PM

Nice here in Vancouver today!! we've had one day of snow this whole winter... maybe an inch.... I guess i can just sit back and watch the Olympics and prepare for some Canadian hockey gold in both men's and women's... (i hope)

Jewish-collector 02-25-2010 01:21 PM

I think the winter/snow is finally over here in Washington, DC.

lharri3600 02-25-2010 03:05 PM

If anyone here would like any dirty Philadelphia snow let me know. I'll gladly ship you an 18 wheeler full for your yard and driveway and you'll be the envy of your neighborhood.

Checking in from Pasadena, CA.

Just what is this freezing "snow" thing everyone is talking about?

barrysloate 02-27-2010 04:52 AM

We had 20.8" in NYC, fourth largest on record. And we've had 36.9" for February, the snowiest month ever recorded in these parts. Enough already!

Snow

"New Joisey" getting walloped....

Kawika 02-27-2010 09:41 AM

State of Hawaii on tsunami alert. Sirens blaring, coastal areas preparing to evacuate, anxiety all over the place. No one knows how big it will be but this is definitely serious shit. No snow however.

barrysloate 02-27-2010 09:53 AM

Chile just had one of the biggest earthquakes ever recorded, something like 30 times stronger than Haiti.

David,

Move the cards and yourself to high ground! (Good thing it's just you and the missus. It would be much harder to move an entire Group!)

Jim: Our house is up about 700 feet elevation so the cards are safe. All hell may possibly be breaking loose down below in about four hours (or it may be a big fizzle, nobody knows) but the main thing is the cards are safe, I repeat, the cards are safe.

Double check on the penultimate examples anyway!
